A List of Credit Bureau Phone Numbers For Consumers
Having all three credit bureau phone numbers is a good idea because you never know when you might need to contact them to obtain information from your credit report or report an attempt at fraud on your account.
All three of these agencies are adamant about protecting your personal information so they will require certain pieces of identifying information prior to giving you any information at all. If you cannot verify the information they have in your file, your request may be delayed until you can prove who you are. One reason that your request may be delayed would be if you have recently moved and the credit bureau does not have your new address and phone number. They may ask you to send them a utility bill or a statement from your landlord before they will release any information to you.Credit Bureau Phone Numbers List
